The card base is Shimmery White CS cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4". Using the Waterfront stamp set, I first layered a couple of the "ground" images using Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive inks. I stamped the first mountain image with Smoky Slate ink. I stamped the image again on some masking paper, cut it out, masked the first image and then stamped it again a couple of times again using the mask. I also masked the mountains to stamp the sun coming up behind a couple of peaks using Crushed Curry ink. I colored the pine trees from the same stamp set by coloring them with Early Espresso and Old Olive markers and then stamping them. The clouds from the Lift Me Up stamp set were inked with Pool Party ink, stamped off and then stamped on the card front. I didn't put a sentiment on it yet; I'll add that when I decide who and what the card will be used for.
I guess I was a little intimidated by the stamp set but I think with a little more practice, it will become well used. Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoyed my take on my part of the country.
