Birthday in Pink

Today I have a birthday card inspired by the Fusion Card Challenge and the Festive Friday Challenge #007.  I'm so bad at getting cards mailed on time; this one will almost make it.

Card Base:  Very Vanilla Thick CS cut 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"; score at 4-1/4".

Sentiment Layer:  The sentiment from the Balloon Celebration stamp set was heat embossed using Versamark and Black Embossing PowderPowder Pink 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon was added along two sides.  On Powder Pink CS, I stamped three of the images from the

Paisleys & Posies stamp set with Berry Burst ink.  The were cut out with the Paisley Framelits and added to the card with Glue Dots.  The layer was attached to the card with Fast Fuse.

The Finishing Touches:  A bow made from the Berry Burst 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon was added to one of the cut outs.  Three Glitter Enamel Dots were added for a little bling.

I hope you enjoyed today's card.  I love using the many challenges out there so if you're ever stumped for inspiration, check them out.  Seems like spring has arrived here in the northeast.  It's lovely to see the sun for a couple of days in a row.  Have a great day.
