Anniversary Card for an Old Friend

My card today was made for a friend I've had since kindergarten (that was a lonnnnng time ago).  She and her husband just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.  The brushed silver card stock was run through that little green tool using the Backgrounds 1 Texturz™ Plate; haven't gotten the Big Shot yet.  The Scallop Trim border punch was used on the bottom edge of the silver card stock to soften it up a little.  I chose the Studio Sketches stamp set for the image.  Don't you just love this set?  It was the first one I ordered from the new catty.  I stamped it on Very Vanilla with Jet Black Staz On ink and water colored with Stampin' Write markers and an Aqua Painter.  I popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The Happy Anniversary sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes was heat embossed using VersaMark and Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder.  Three Tempting Turquoise brads from the Brights Brads were added for a little color on the silver card stock.  All that was left to do was mail it to the happy couple.
Hope you enjoyed the card today.  Don't forget to leave a comment for the blog candy I'll be giving away on Friday.
