The Pals Paper Arts 58 challenge was to make a clean and simple card using pearls, those yummy new embellishments in the Stampin' Up Idea Book and Catalog. My take is this.
Textured Whisper White was used as the base for my card. I embossed Night of Navy with the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate, spritzed it with Frost White Shimmer Paint mixed with alcohol and layered it on the card front. A strip of Night of Navy was adhered to a strip of Textured Whisper White and added to the card front after I tied a bow using Whisper White 5/8" Satin Ribbon. I stamped the flowers stamp from Punch Potpourri, a level 1 hostess set, with Night of Navy Craft Stampin' Spot to scraps of Marina Mist and Whisper White and heat embossed them with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder. They were punched out using the Boho Blossoms Extra Large Punch. They were randomly attached using Mini Glue Dots and Stampin' Dimensionals. The finishing touch was the Basic Pearls. Such a fun challenge.
Have a great Friday and an even better weekend.
