Tulips in October

The Paper Players Challenge #20 was a sketch this week.  Of course, I waited until the last minute to come up with a card.

Very Vanilla card stock was used for my card base.  I added a layer of Concord Crush card stock that was embossed with the small dots from the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates.  Before attaching it to the card front, I added the retired 1-3/8" Pretty in Pink grosgrain ribbon and a strip of Basic Gray card stock.  The image from A Flower for All Seasons stamp set was stamped on Very Vanilla card stock with StazOn ink.  It was watercolored with Concord Crush, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Basic Gray ink using Blender Pens.  I punched out a piece of scrap paper with the 1-3/8" Square Punch, placed it over the image, and sponged around it with Pretty in Pink ink.  The frame around the image was made using Lap of Luxury Designer Series Paper.  After adding the image to the inside of the frame, I adhered it to a piece of Pretty in Pink card stock whose edges and corners were punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch and the Scallop Trim Corner PunchStampin' Dimensionals were used to pop this up on the card front.  The sentiment from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set was stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock using Concord Crush ink and punched out with the Modern Label Punch.  Two Pretty in Pink brads from the Subtles Brads were added and the sentiment was adhered to the front using dimensionals.  I hope you enjoyed a little bit of Spring in the Fall.  Have a wonderful weekend.
