A Merry Christmas

You can tell it's that time of year; Christmas cards are popping up all around blog land.  This card is based on the Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge #229.

The base is Early Espresso card stock.  A piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock was run through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst embossing folder.  I spritzed it with Frost White
Shimmer Paint mixed with alcohol.  A strip of Early Espresso card stock was added as well as a piece of Poppy Parade ribbon.  This layer was attached to the card front.   I heat embossed the sentiment from the Bells and Boughs stamp set on a piece of Nursery Nest designer paper using VersaMark, Early Espresso ink and clear embossing powder.  This layer was matted with a piece of Early Espresso card stock.  A Poppy Parade Glimmer Brad was added in the corner and this layer was attached using dimensionals.  The image from the Jolliest Time of the Year stamp set was stamped on Whisper White card stock with black StazOn ink.  I used Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz and Early Espresso markers to add a little color to the image.  Dazzling Details was added to give it a little sparkle.  I punched it out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch.  A piece of Early Espresso card stock was punched out with the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch.  I added Dazzling Details and while it was still wet, sprinkled on some Dazzling Diamonds glitter for a little extra wow.  The image was added to the center with dimensionals.  The star from the Itty Bitty Bits stamp set was heat embossed on Whisper White with VersaMark, Daffodil Delight ink and clear embossing powder.  I punched it out with the circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and added it above the tree with a dimensional.  This layer was also attached to the card with dimensionals.  I now have another card to add to my supply of Christmas cards (albeit there aren't that many yet).  Hopefully you are all getting a jump on the season with your own cards.  Until next time, create and be happy!
