Eiffel Thanks

Good Monday to all.  Here's hoping your weekend was all you wanted it to be.  My thank you card today is based on three challenges:  KA-POW Kreative Challenge #09, Paper Lovin' Gals #14, and Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge #238.
The colors in the KKC09 challenge were great but I was stumped with the Regal Rose.  You can see I chickened out and only used a small piece.  I started with Cajun Craze card stock for the base.  The next layer is a piece of Well Worn designer paper that I distressed around the edges with the distressing tool from the Cutter Kit.  I then sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink.  The sentiment from the Thank You Kindly stamp set was heat embossed with VersaMark, Soft Suede ink and clear embossing powder on the designer paper.  A strip of Cajun Craze card stock was added.
Hemp Twine was wrapped twice around the designer paper.  The ends were fed through a retired Buttons Latte button and tied in a bow.  The layer was then attached to the card front.  The Eiffel Tower image from the Artistic Etchings stamp set was heat embossed on Naturals Ivory card stock with VersaMark, Soft Suede ink and clear embossing powder.  The edges were distressed with the distressing tool and sponged with Soft Suede ink.  I then cut the image into three equal pieces.  They were attached to a piece of Regal Rose card stock and that was matted with a piece of River Rock card stock.  Both these pieces had their edges distressed with the same tool.  The image layer was added to the card with dimensionals.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Take some time today to have fun and be creative.  See you here again soon.

You only needed a hint of pink! Great card. I may have to case it as my daughter and son-in-law went there last year so this would be a good card to send them. Thanks!

This is gorgeous! I loved the sponged focal point that you sliced into thirds. I love how it refects the 2/3 rule idea for the sketch.. this is absolutely gorgeous! Thanks so much for playing along this week!
