This is the first Valentine card I've made this year. I've taken on three challenges with this card: Create with Connie and Mary #184, The Paper Players Challenge #78 and Sunny Challenges & Creations Challenge #23 - Give Us Some Love.
My card base is Pear Pizzazz card stock. A layer of Blushing Bride card stock was run through the Big Shot with the scallop Edgelit Die. To this I added a layer of Whisper White card stock that was stamped with the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. From the Twitterpated designer paper,
I punched out six shapes with the Petal Card Double Punch. The four sides were folded in and sealed. The reason I used the punch instead of just a single piece of designer paper was for a more sturdy "package". I wrapped Calypso Coral ribbon from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack around each to make them look like gifts. They were attached to the card with dimensionals. I made six small bows with the same ribbon and attached them to the packages with glue dots. Six small Pear Pizzazz hearts were punched out with the Heart to Heart Punch and attached to the gifts with glue dots. To finish the card, I added pearls to the hearts and the scallops. This was one of those cards that started with one idea and evolved into something else. I hope you like it. The week is going by quickly so don't forget to enjoy and create.
