That's A Lot of Pink Birthday

What I have today is a birthday card with a lot of pink so I guess this will definitely be for a female.  It is based on three challenges:  Paper Players Challenge #81, Mojo Monday Challenge #227, and Stampin' Royalty Challenge #110.  The Stampin' Royalty challenge is an inspiration photo and the pinks just popped out at me.

I chose Whisper White card stock for the base of the card.  Pink Pirouette card stock was added to Melon Mambo card stock.  A piece of Cheerful Treat designer paper was matted with Whisper White as was a piece of Pretty in Pink card
stock.  Both were added to the Melon Mambo layer.  A strip of Whisper White card stock was then attached over the seam.  Melon Mambo ribbon was added to the white strip.  Using a piece of Linen thread, I gathered the ribbon on the right side.  The image from the Mixed Bunch stamp set was
stamped on Melon Mambo card stock with Melon Mambo ink and punched out with the Blossom punch.  I also punched out another flower from Whisper White card stock, snipped off the end of each petal and added them behind each petal of the pink flower.  I punched out a circle from Pretty in Pink card stock with the 2-1/2" Circle punch, sponged around the edges with Pretty in Pink ink and attached the flower to it with glue dots.  The Melon Mambo layer was adhered to the card front.  The flower layer
was popped up with dimensionals.  I heat embossed the sentiment from the Happiest Birthday Wishes stamp set with VersaMark and Melon Mambo embossing powder on Whisper White card stock.  I snipped one end and curled it a little for dimension.  It was attached to a piece of Melon Mambo card stock with glue dots.  I also snipped one end of the Melon Mambo.  It was added to the card with glue dots.  A pearl was colored with a permanent marker and added to the sentiment layer.  A large pearl was added over the gathered ribbon with glue dots.  A bevy of pearls were added to the center of the flower to finish off the card.  All done and ready for a recipient who won't mind all that pink.  Thank you for visiting and I hope you get a chance to visit again.  The weekend is almost upon us so be sure to find some time for fun and creativity.  See you tomorrow.
