Happy Sunday all. This will be a quick post because I am cutting it close for my weekly card for the Merry Monday Challenge #38. The list of what I used is at the end of the post.
I used Naturals Ivory card stock for the base and the additional layer that was embossed using the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder. A piece of Festival of Prints designer paper was matted with Cherry Cobbler and added to the card. Lucky Limeade and Naturals Ivory card stocks were cut out with the Window Frames Dies, attached together and put on the card. The petals of the poinsettia were punched out with the Blossom Petals Builder punch and built up in two layers on a 1" circle. The center is a 3/4" circle punched out of Champagne Glimmer paper. Victoria ribbon was attached to a strip of Cherry Cobbler. I added an Old Olive brad and attached it to the card. The poinsettia was then added using dimensionals. Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details was used to highlight the edges of the petals. If you have any questions, let me know in a comment or e-mail me (see the side bar). Enjoy the rest of the weekend. We're anticipating Sandy here in the northeast in the next couple of days so I'm hoping everyone will be safe and sound after it rumbles through.
