It's time for my card for the weekly Merry Monday Challenge #41. This week I paired it with the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #144 - Snowflakes.
This card is pretty simple to do - no stamps or ink. The card base is Whisper White card stock. I matted a piece of Snow Festival Designer Paper with Cherry Cobbler card stock and added it to the card. I snipped one end of a piece of Whisper White card stock to give it a pennant look. It was then run through the Big Shot with the retired Snow Burst embossing folder. Using a sponge dauber, I sponged some Platinum Shimmer Paint over the
raised parts. I lined up the top edge on a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock and snipped the pennant edge following the one on the white piece. This was then added to the card. The snowflakes were cut from Silver Glimmer Paper using the Big Shot and the retired Northern Frost Sizzlits Die. A Cherry Cobbler brad was added to the center of each and they were attached to a circle of Gumball Green card stock with a glue dot. The circles were then attached using dimensionals. It's hard to believe that Christmas is only about one month away. Makes me happy I started on this challenge back in week 2 and now have a good stash built up. Have a wonderful weekend. We've got bright sunshine and blue skies here in the Hudson Valley - gorgeous day.
