Ornament Triplets

Hello all.  I hope your weekend is off to a great start.  My card today is for the weekly Merry Monday Challenge #47I also used the sketch from another weekly Christmas card challenge - 52 (Christmas) Card Throwdown:  February Sketch.

The Merry Monday challenge is a tic-tac-toe one and I chose the bottom row.  For the base I used Gumball Green card stock.  I matted a piece of Snow Festival designer paper with Whisper White card stock.  The sentiment from the Christmas Lodge stamp set was heat embossed on a strip of Whisper White card stock with VersaMark and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder and matted with Cherry Cobbler card stockI
added two pieces of Gumball Green ribbon to the designer paper layer, attached the sentiment between them and added the whole layer to the card front.  An ornament from the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set was heat embossed three times on Whisper White card stock with VersaMark and a mixture of Cherry Cobbler
embossing powder and Dazzling DiamondsThey were cut out using the Big Shot and the Holiday Ornaments Dies.  I punched out three squares from Gumball Green card stock and added them across the card front.  The ornaments were popped up with dimensionals on the squares.  I made small bows using Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine and added one to each ornament.  I attached a small Whisper White circle to each round Bitty Button, inserted a Cherry Cobbler brad in each and attached them between the ornaments with glue dots.  It's hard to see the glimmer on the ornaments but you can check out the closeup of one of the ornaments above.  No matter how many colors I've used when making Christmas cards, I'm a real traditionalist and love the red and green best.  Thanks for visiting today.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
