Today I have a birthday card based on the Stampin' Royalty Challenge #165. I'm still trying to get caught up on birthday cards; unfortunately this was not a productive week again.
As you can see, I changed up the center because I have wanted to use this stamp set and this sketch works perfectly with that stamp. I used Baja Breeze card stock for the base. Next I added two strips of Patio Party designer paper. On another piece of designer paper from the Patio Party collection, I heat embossed the image from the Blue Ribbon stamp set using VersaMark and White Embossing Powder. The sentiment from the same stamp set was also heat embossed using VersaMark, Primrose Petals ink and clear embossing powder. I punched it out with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch, added a white brad and popped it up on the ribbon with Dimensionals. A piece of Primrose Petals ribbon was added as well as white brads. Two strips of Primrose Petals card stock were punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch and attached to each side of the image layer. This was then added to the card. Since I needed a card in a hurry, this was a quick one to make. I hope your weekend is all that you planned. Enjoy.
