Whale of a Birthday

Today I have another birthday card I made for my brother-in-law's step-daughter.  I used the sketch from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #158.

Lucky Limeade card stock was used for the card base.  On a piece of Sunshine & Sprinkles designer paper I stamped the sentiment from the retired It's Your Birthday stamp set and added it to the card front.  A piece of Whisper White card stock was run through the Big Shot with the Cloudy Day embossing folder.  I added two strips of Pacific Point card stock to the top and bottom and attached it to the card.  The whale and water spouts were cut out with the Big Shot and the Happy Whale Clearlits Die using Basic Gray and Pacific Point card stocksI sponged around the edges of the whale with Basic Gray inkDimensionals were used to add the whale to a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock that was cut out using one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  One side was cut so it would line up with the edge of the card.  I added a Pear Pizzazz glimmer brad (it matched pretty well with the Lucky Limeade) to the rounded end.  The water spouts were attached with rolled up glue dots and very small pieces of dimensionals.  A googlie was added for the whale's eye.  Now all I have to do is get this out in the mail tomorrow.  Hope you had a great weekend.
