I started with Crisp Cantaloupe card stock for the card base. A strip of Gingham Garden designer paper was matted with Strawberry Slush card stock, attached to a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and added to the card front. The cake stamp from the Embellished Events stamp set was colored with Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pear Pizzazz markers, huffed on, and stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. The sentiment from A Dozen Thoughts stamp set was stamped beneath the cake with Strawberry Slush ink. I matted the image layer with Strawberry Slush card stock. A different piece of the same designer paper was also matted with Strawberry Slush and attached to the card. Dimensionals were then used to pop up the image on the card. Couldn't get much simpler than that. If you wanted to take the card up a notch, you could add some glitter, rhinestones, brads, a bow, etc. This takes me back to when I first started stamping and just had stamps, ink and paper. I've come a long way since then. Thanks for dropping in.
A REMINDER - I have some blog candy that I will be giving away this weekend. Check this blog post here for more information.
