Happy Saturday to you all. And happy it is here - right now it's 48 degrees outside. If I didn't know cold weather is moving back in, I'd say spring is making its slow arrival. Oh well, I can be patient - not! Hopefully this card will bring a smile to a friend. I used the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #124 for my inspiration.
The card base is Very Vanilla card stock. I matted a piece of Modern Medley designer paper with Melon Mambo card stock. A piece of Bermuda Bay ribbon was wrapped around and tied in a knot. I then added a snippet of Melon Mambo ribbon to the first knot. The layer was added to the card. The image from the Freshly Made stamp set was heat embossed on Very Vanilla card stock using VersaMark and a mixture of Black embossing powder mixed with Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Looks great in real life but not too easy to capture in the photo. The word bubble from the same stamp set was stamped with StazOn ink. I then used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the sentiment inside the bubble and stamped it with Bermuda Bay ink. The image was then cut into three equal parts, each one matted with Melon Mambo card stock; all three were then added to a piece of Bermuda Bay card stock. Dimensionals were used to add it to the card. As you can see, Rhinestones were added as the finishing touch. Thank you for stopping by. Please feel free to leave a comment; they are always appreciated. Enjoy the day.
